The storybooth is a temporary installation located close to the ice tree, in the Belle Isle Beach area. It serves as an anchor and convener, inviting the telling and sharing of memories, stories, images from Belle Isle. During the summer and fall months, the storybooth, serves as a point of departure to welcome conversations, workshops and itineraries surrounding the island.

The augmented Belle Isle Story Booth is a virtual twin of the onsite story booth found on Belle Isle. Its intention is to allow for an immersive augmented reality experience of the story booth that will live beyond the physical installation.
Click on either version of the experience (1-to-1 or Desktop) and explore the augmented reality model. Within this immersive environment you can get inspired by others' stories of the island by clicking on the rotating icons located in the model.
If you would like you to share your own story. Click the "O" in Story on the back panel to bring up a separate website where you can submit an audio recording of up to three minutes to share with others.
